We pulled the data through the Untappd API, which means the rankings come straight from millions of user check-ins worldwide, not from someone’s personal list. The scores update in real time, so the ranking isn’t static. No editorial picks, no hand-made top tens. Just numbers and user ratings.
To get a clear list of the best breweries in Prague and the Czech Republic, some filtering was needed. First, breweries focused almost exclusively on sour beers were removed. Then guest breweries were taken out, meaning brands without their own production. Why that matters is something we explain at the bar when people ask. After that, non-Czech breweries were filtered out, leaving only local producers.
Once all filters are applied, you get a straightforward top list of the best breweries in Prague and the Czech Republic based on real user data. We work with this ranking ourselves, which is why many of these breweries show up at our bar at the same time, both on tap and in cans. It’s not a content piece for clicks, it’s a practical tool that helps us decide what to put on tap and what to keep in stock.
